Microsoft will bring tri-fold Surface phone
Microsoft is moving towards multi-panel devices. According to a new patent from the company, the software giant is going to bring a tri-fold design Surface phone. News GSM Arena.
Last week, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office accepted the patent application. There is also a separate screen on the edge of a device in this sketch.
When the device is folded, it looks like a conventional smartphone and on a wide profile it looks like a Surface Duo.
Microsoft has not yet released any additional information. It did not even say how it would work.
Rumors are rife that Samsung too is going to bring its own tri-fold device. Last March, TCL MWC showcased such a concept device in Barcelona.
